The mobile medical team in Sumy region during the December departures covered 180 people with services.
The advantage of a mobile team is that its members can provide people with comprehensive medical, psychological and social assistance on the ground, in small and remote settlements.
“Locals from such villages usually rarely turn to specialists. This is due to several factors. They are uncomfortable driving to the center of a community, district or area. They do not have the time or the appropriate transport for it. Or do not do it because of the difficult financial situation. Our mobile team provides services free of charge and comes directly to the villages,” explained Svetlana Voronina, a specialist in project and program management in the field of material (intangible) production.
The schedule of departure of the mobile medical team in January can be viewed on the official resource of Popivska hromada —https://www.facebook.com/popivka.gromada.
The project is implemented by the NGO “Light of Hope” within the EMPOWER project, financed by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) together with the European Union and implemented by GIZ Ukraine.
