41 people from the Poltava community successfully completed several months' training in new specialties in accordance with their own needs. All of them have received certificates or diplomas that confirm this.

Participants chose seven areas of study, including, for example, Internet marketing, hairdressing, accounting.
“I took into account both my own wishes and market conditions when choosing a course. This is a great opportunity to master a new area for free. This support and knowledge is of great importance, given the conditions of modern Ukrainian life. It's an opportunity to feel a little safer, to have hope. We were helped to learn new skills, and we diligently learned so that such projects would have good results and continuation,” said Svitlana Slota, a graduate of the course in web design.

Specialized training of the unemployed is one of the directions of the project “Support of social and financial recovery of war-affected communities of Poltava region”.

The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) and implemented by the NGO “Light of Hope” in partnership with JERU (Joint Emergency Response to Emergencies in Ukraine by the international NGOs Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide).
