We support people who are adversely affected by the HIV epidemic. We give them food or hygiene certificates so that they can meet their basic needs.
It's about help:
- people living with HIV;
- people who use injectable drugs;
- sex workers;
- men who practice sex with men;
- people suffering from tuberculosis.
“I have a husband. Raising a teenager. I need to feed them something. Both love meat dishes. Financially, it has become very difficult recently. As long as you pay all the bills, what kind of meat is there. The pennies on the products remain,” said sex worker Yana (name changed).
“I have a disability. Now I'm going through a re-examination. I can not work because of health problems. I am practically dependent on a friend. If I bring food, then it will be a holiday for both of us,” explained drug addict Vadim (name changed).
This activity is implemented within the framework of the project “Humanitarian support for the initiatives of communities of key groups (KGS) of the population negatively affected by the HIV epidemic in Ukraine” with the support of the Public Health Alliance IfF.
