A two-day training was held for representatives of the district military administrations of Poltava region, who are authorized to register statements of persons who consider themselves affected by this phenomenon. The event was also attended by specialists of the Department of Social Protection of the Population of Poltava Regional State Administration and the Main Department of the National Social Service in Poltava Oblast.
During the training we analyzed:
- typical errors that occur in the process of registration of status;
- best practices for primary identification of victims;
- methods of forming the motivation of people to seek help;
- algorithm for assessing the needs and organization of social support of victims;
- legal aspects of activities in the direction of combating trafficking in human beings.
The NGO “Light of Hope” defined this direction as one of the strategic in its activities. Therefore, we make every possible effort to ensure that the subjects of the national mechanism of cooperation in the Poltava region work in a coordinated and efficient manner.
