We announce the third competition for the “BOLD” mini-grants competition. The project is organized thanks to the partnership of Ukrainian business: Raiffeisen Bank and Astarte agroindustrial holding. Implementation partners are the Foundation “Believe in Yourself” and the NGO “Light of Hope”.
If you have interesting business ideas or have already started your own business and need funds to scale it, then this competition is for you. Project participants can be:
- for the category “self-employment” — unemployed women and men aged 20 to 55 who have a business idea and are ready for its implementation (Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Chernihiv and Khmelnytsky regions).
Preference is given to participants who belong to the categories: combatant (s), war veterans, members of their families (wife/husband, children, parents), family members of deceased combatants.
- for the category “microentrepreneurship” — women and men aged 20 to 55 years who have entrepreneurial experience (at least 3 months. before the announcement of the competition, have a registered legal entity or registered as an individual entrepreneur), registered/re-registered in the controlled Ukraine, territories (Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Chernihiv and Khmelnytsky regions).
Preference will be given to micro-enterprises (individual entrepreneurs, legal entities) that aim, within the framework of the competition, to create an additional workplace for vulnerable categories of the population.
Participants are expected to learn and prepare business plans to improve and develop their own business. After that, business projects will be protected. The authors of the best ideas will receive mini-grants in the form of equipment that was specified in the business plan and is necessary for the direct implementation of these business projects.
This time 45 participants will receive a grant of up to UAH 70,000 for the purchase of new equipment. Applications for participation are accepted under two grant categories: “Self-employment” and “Microentrepreneurship”.
