A bright tomorrow without disease
Under this slogan, today in Poltava an action timed to the World Day Against Tuberculosis was held.
Within a few hours, people could do fluorography and be screened for HIV.
Phthisiatricians also told those present about the symptoms of tuberculosis in adults and children, the prevention of the disease and the fact that this disease is curable and its treatment is free.
Our social workers advised people on the possibilities of social support for TB patients, as well as told more about HIV, transmission routes and infection prevention measures.
More than 100 people checked their health, one person was confirmed infected with HIV.
